I started this blog/site as an assignment for school but have become sort of addicted to adding things to it so have decided to keep it going. You might notice that the title says "STEM Stuff", that is because my primary focus is STEM but I will also be including information relevant to other content/study areas.

Reading Resource: ReadWorks - The Solution to Reading Comprehension

During my field experience last Spring I learned about ReadWorks. My host teacher used it to help her students practice comprehension strategies. The site has many printable/downloadable texts that come with questions for the students to answer. You can search by grade, strategy, text type (fiction, non-fiction, etc), or by Fountas & Pinnell reading level.
