I find the concept of teaching "21st Century Skills" fascinating for a couple of reasons. One - it seems common sense to me that these skills should be incorporated not only into our teaching methodology but also should be explicitly taught to our students. Second - at first I saw the "C's" and wondered how it was narrowed down to these four concepts. Once I spent some time thinking about it I realized that almost every "skill" I could think of fell nicely into one of these categories. They really do intertwine and complement each other very well. They are skills that reach beyond the idea of incorporating electronics into our curriculum and will follow our students through every aspect of their lives and future careers.
I started this blog/site as an assignment for school but have become sort of addicted to adding things to it so have decided to keep it going. You might notice that the title says "STEM Stuff", that is because my primary focus is STEM but I will also be including information relevant to other content/study areas.
